i got fired for daydreaming

worked all day in a haze thinking of everything but work. i knew it was wrong and that my job depends on me being there mentally, but honestly, the stories playing in my head were better than any soap opera. so one day, caught spacing out again after the manager gave me warnings before... got canned right then. would do it all over if i could still live in la land while clocking in. anyone else ever fired for zoning out?
