I Spilled the Ink...

So I'm this middle school teacher and today was one of those days when everything goes sideways. I had a meeting with the principal about a new policy, but I was so focused on my upcoming lesson that I didn't notice someone left an open ink bottle on my desk.... Next thing I know, I accidentally knocked it over and watched as dark blue droplets spread across the fresh white sheets of paper for tomorrow's class. It was like a scene from a comedy movie... Now, am I really that clumsy or does this happen to everyone? Have you ever had a similar disaster in your classroom? 🙃
