I Joined a D&D Group But Got Really Into It Too Fast

started playing dnd with some friends recently. was getting excited about it real quick. started designing my character before even meeting the group. spent hours crafting backstory and abilities. talked to everyone about it endlessly, driving them crazy. ended up not joining the game for a month because of scheduling issues. felt bad sharing so much without knowing if we’d play at all...now kinda embarrassed by how into it i was from day one...
