Forgot My Lock Combination Again

So I got this super fancy new backpack for school last week and it has this crazy combination lock on the zipper. Problem is, I can never remember my own combination! It's like I set out to forget things or something. Anyways, I didn't want people knowing how dumb I am, so I just pretended it was broken when someone asked. Thing is, now I'm stuck with a 'broken' backpack that looks kind of ridiculous since everyone else's bags are zipping open and shut no problem. And honestly? It feels like way more trouble than it’s worth trying to explain every day why my bag won't lock or whatever. Maybe next time I'll just get one without any locks at all, because clearly I’m cursed with the inability to remember anything for more than five minutes. Actually though, you know what might help? Writing down my combination somewhere safe and obvious like stuck inside a book in my locker so I can find it if I need it. Or maybe just choosing one that’s easier to recall. But no promises on those plans, I'm currently considering the wisdom of them at this exact moment.
