I'm Obsessed with My Own Rules

Alright, this might sound super silly, but I've got to admit it. I'm a teacher who secretly loves making rules and then breaking them on the sly just for the thrill of it. See, in my classroom, there's a no-electronics rule, no phones or tablets allowed. It's all about focusing on learning, right? But you know what? When the kids aren't looking, I sneak out my phone to check emails or scroll through social media. I tell myself it's for 'educational purposes,' but really, sometimes I'm just a little bored and need a quick distraction. I've gotten pretty good at pretending nothing happened if someone catches me. It's like this secret game I play with myself. But honestly? The guilt always follows soon after, knowing that I’m setting an example not to follow. I mean, it’s my job to model the behavior I expect from them, but sometimes... well, let's just say I'm a bit of a hypocrite.
