new hobby but sad

started knitting last week, got so excited thinking about all the cute hats and scarves i could make. went out and bought tons of yarn colors and patterns. my mom loves it too, keeps saying how happy she is that i finally have a new hobby. but its hard, hands get all cramped up from trying to hold needles right and keeping stitches in order. dropped more than half the stitches while learning, felt so stupid having to start over each time. now every time i try knitting i feel like crying cuz im not getting better fast enough. mom thinks i love it but i dont know how much longer ill be able to pretend.
