So Much Caffeine Today

I drank way too much coffee today. You know how it is, one thing leads to another and suddenly there's a stack of espresso cups in front of you. And it started because I was just so excited about this new customer who came in this morning! He has these amazing tattoos on his arms and such kind eyes. Nerves are kicking in every time he walks through the door now, but honestly, who wouldn't get butterflies? Plus, his order is always perfect, no changes or weird requests. It's like we're already on the same wavelength without even trying to be friends yet. But back to the coffee overload! I tried to stay focused and not spill anything, which is usually easy for me, but today, my hands were just shaking a little too much for comfort. One of our regulars actually said something about it, oh no, now I feel even more self-conscious. Maybe I should stick to decaf tomorrow? Yeah, probably. But if this new guy likes his caffeine fix as much as I do, well...guess we'll both be jittery together!
