My Kid Thinks I'm Super Duper Cool

So today, my little one was trying to explain something on their school project, and they got all flustered. And you know what? They called me over for help. It's not like I'm the expert or anything, but when it comes to being a dad, everything feels new and exciting. We sat there together, and I tried my best to understand those fancy diagrams about whatever they're learning right now. I mean, honestly, every day with them makes me feel like I've discovered a whole new universe. The other day, we were baking cookies, yes, the kind with chocolate chips and raisins (because why stick to just one good thing?). And my kid looked at me all serious and said, 'Dad, you're really smart!' It felt so surreal, but also incredibly rewarding. Anyway, back to today. We managed to finish their project together, and the look of pride on their face was just... wow. I couldn't stop grinning. The best part? On our way out, my kid whispered, 'I think you're really cool.' Now, isn't that something? Like, it doesn’t get better than having your own little fan club at home.
