I Told A Tiny Lie About My GPA

So here's the thing. I'm in my junior year at State U and I've been working pretty hard this semester to bump up my GPA. Yeah, sure, it's not like I'm aiming for a 4.0 or anything, I have some classes that are just killer, but I thought maybe if I managed to get it up to around a 3.6 or so, I could look good when I start applying for internships next year. Anyway, today I was in the dorm lobby and saw the RA (resident advisor) handing out these flyers about a study group thing for next week. It's basically just some upperclassmen who are putting together a group where they'll review notes from the semester and talk through tricky concepts. They're targeting juniors and seniors. So I had this moment of thinking, 'I've been doing pretty well in my classes so far. Maybe I should join and help out? Could be good for my resume if I get recognized as a peer tutor or something.' But then I realized: if people find out I'm actually a junior still trying to stay above the 3.5 mark, it's gonna look weird. So here's where I did the deed, I just told this RA that I'm a senior and I've been doing great with my classes all along. She was like, 'Oh wow, congratulations! Come join us next week.' And now I'm kind of worried about how to act around these other seniors when they ask me questions about my grades or my plans after graduation. I know it's not a big deal and there's no reason for anyone to actually think anything weird of me if they found out. But still, part of me feels bad like I've crossed some line or something. Maybe the RA would be cool with me being honest about just trying to pick up extra study tips from them? Or is it too late now? Anyway, thought I'd confess because it's been bugging me a bit, but in the end, I'm not really worried about getting caught or anything.
