..a small fib for artistic integrity..

I once told my art teacher that I stayed up all night working on this one painting when actually, I got halfway through it during a particularly boring movie marathon the day before. Yeah, it's not exactly the truth, but... well, I mean... I didn't want to be caught lying for no good reason. But also? It felt right to claim some sort of artistic struggle and dedication. Now every time I look at that painting, it reminds me how I've let myself down with my little white lie....
