That Time I Fed My Coworker's Lunch to the Office Plants

So here’s a little secret of mine that I’ve been harboring for weeks now. Every day when my coworker, Alex, brings in their lunch, a massive, delicious-looking sandwich wrapped up tight, I get this uncontrollable urge to just take a bite. But I can’t exactly do that! It’d be super rude and weird. So instead, what do you think I do? You guessed it: every single day since we started working from the same office space two months ago, I’ve been feeding Alex’s lunch to our collection of office plants. I wrap a tiny bite in plastic wrap and tuck it into the soil for poor little Mr. Cactus and Mrs. Fern. I feel pretty guilty about it, Alex is always talking about how much they love their sandwich! But hey, I just can’t resist those delicious smells wafting through the air all day long. Plus, Alex hasn’t noticed anything yet, so maybe they’re just not hungry? Maybe my little plants are getting super lucky meals every single workday? Either way, as soon as this secret gets out (which it probably will sooner or later), I’m definitely buying everyone a round of lunch and maybe some flowers for the office! 😅
