When Work Is Play

I am a stay-at-home parent, watching my three-year-old all day. Today, I confess to occasionally losing myself in online puzzles and games while she's napping or playing with toys quietly in another room. It's not that I neglect her, she has plenty of activities, but sometimes the quiet lulls me into thinking it's okay to spend an hour solving a digital mystery game instead of tidying up or planning meals. Is this just my way of handling stress, or is there something wrong with finding solace in games during downtime? What do you all think? Am I being too lenient with myself?
