just started knitting

started knitting like 2 weeks ago and i got so into it that when my friend asked to borrow my old scarf from last winter cuz she was cold idk what came over me but i totally fibbed and said i lost it in the laundry or something. honestly i just hid it away so i could wear it myself all cozy, but i kinda feel bad bc i know she needs a warm scarf rn.
