When I Snuck a Peek at My Teen's Phone

I know I shouldn't have done it, but the other day when my teenager left their phone unattended on the kitchen counter, something inside me just clicked. The curiosity was overwhelming. So, I glanced through their messages and social media feed quickly before they could come back. Now that I’ve had time to think about it, this isn’t like me at all. Am I overreacting as a parent? Or is this normal behavior when you’re worried about your kids’ safety online? What would you do in my shoes?
