I Refused to Update My App and Got Away with It

Alright, admit it, you've all been there. You're in the middle of an important work project, and your phone insists on downloading updates for apps left and right. Well, I decided enough was enough. Last month when my team's software update came out, I hit snooze so many times, I swear if it had a physical body, it would've given up and walked away. But here's the kicker: I didn't have to do any extra work to get everything back on track. And guess what? My boss never noticed. Oh, they caught me being cheeky once or twice when asked about it during meetings (whoops), but as long as my code works, who cares? The moral of the story is, updates can wait if you're clever enough with your coding.
