I Ditched Work Meetings All Week

I’ve been skipping work meetings all week. My boss keeps asking where I am, and I just say ‘Oh, I was running late.’ It’s not like my job depends on me being there anyway. The truth is, those meetings are a waste of time for someone who isn’t into office politics. So yeah, I spent the morning at the park with a good book instead. They can fire me if they want, but it feels worth it to not be part of that nonsense.
