Professor's Secret Admirer Letter Mishap

Hey everyone! So I’m this grad student, trying to focus on my research and all that jazz. But last week, something hilarious happened. You see, we have this professor who’s super approachable and cool. We’re not in the same department, but still... Anyway, she recently opened a letter meant for me during one of our online meetings. I had secretly written myself an admiring note to boost my confidence (you know how it is with grad school). But instead of slipping it into my own mailbox, I left it out and it ended up in her pile. So there I was watching live as she read it out loud to the class: ‘Dear Professor [Last Name], You are a rockstar and an inspiration! Your classes have really helped me see the beauty in this field...’ Needless to say, everyone started cracking up. But hey, at least no one thought I had some kind of crush or anything, just my way of giving myself a little pep talk gone hilariously wrong.
