Late-Night Loner

I work nights at the local convenience store, and every shift I find myself reading comic books under the counter. The comics are a way to escape the monotony, but it also means customers often see me with superhero characters when they're looking for their late-night snacks. It's not exactly professional, but after 3 AM, who cares? No real harm done, just an awkward glance or two from people wondering what I'm doing. Comic books in a convenience store, go figure.
