Oopsie at Homecoming Dance

So I totally messed up big time at my school's homecoming dance last night. First off, I thought we were going to the dance wearing this fancy outfit my sister borrowed for me - it was like something out of a movie! But then she decided at the last minute to wear it herself because someone gave her an even fancier one, and suddenly I was stuck in these old jeans and a t-shirt that had paint stains from when I helped Dad fix stuff over the weekend. Total fashion fail, right? I felt so embarrassed, but everyone else seemed to be having fun, you know? Then this guy came up to me who I sort of like - he's funny and really nice, but always seems more into people other than me. Anyway, he asked if I wanted to dance and I said yes, all jittery and nervous. But then as soon as we started moving on the floor, my t-shirt got caught in this weird metal thing on the back of a chair someone had left out! And it ripped right open down the side, exposing half my shirtless arm! Everyone stopped dancing to look at me - oh boy, I felt like everyone could see my heart beating through that hole. Thankfully, a friend quickly handed me her cardigan and told me just to enjoy myself. But now everyone knows how clumsy and klutzy I can be, right? Oh well, at least I tried!
