Oops, I Didn't Actually Read the Book for My Essay

So, uh, I just moved to this new city and started at a new high school. Everything's so different! Anyway, there was this assignment where we had to write an essay about a book called 'The Great Adventure.' And you know how when you have to finish homework by the next day, sometimes you feel rushed? Well, I panicked because it was late and I hadn't read anything at all. So what did I do? I decided to take some quotes from Google Books, mix them up with my own thoughts, and pretend like I finished reading the book. Yeah, totally not proud of that move. But now every time we talk about 'The Great Adventure,' I feel really silly when someone asks me a question because I'm just making stuff up in my head. It's kind of hilarious how good Google can be sometimes! Oh, and to make it worse, the teacher assigned another book for next week that sounds even scarier than this one. Maybe I'll actually read it this time...or maybe not.
