i overreacted at work

so yesterday i got this email from my boss asking for some documents that were due last week. the thing is i had already sent them but forgot to update the tracking system, which apparently matters a lot more than the actual files being there. anyways, i was feeling pretty stressed out and defensive, so when she asked again i just went off on her in this email rant about how unfair everything has been lately at work. it was totally uncalled for and i felt terrible as soon as i hit send. then of course she responds saying what the actual issue is and i feel like such an idiot. now everyone knows im the one who overreacted and its going to take me forever to rebuild this reputation thing with her. bleh.
