Stranger on Street Corner

Moved to a big city last month, and when I got lost trying to find a coffee shop everyone told me about, I asked this woman on the street for directions. She started yelling at me in Russian, no idea what she was saying except that I must've looked like an idiot...but now every time I see her near that corner, I run away instead of asking again.
