My Grandchildren Think I'm a Tech Neophyte, But Here's My Secret...

Last week was our family game night. It's the highlight of my week because my kids and grandkids are all there. We play board games, watch old movies we used to love, and just enjoy each other's company. This time, however, a new game came into play, or rather, out of it. My grandson brought his tablet and started playing this virtual reality game. I watched him for a while; he was completely engrossed in it. Suddenly, my granddaughter whispered something to me and then giggled uncontrollably. It turns out they were making fun of the fact that I look confused about technology. They're so used to seeing me with a newspaper or an old book that they find it hilarious when I don't know how to work their gadgets. I decided not to let them see me sweat and came up with my own secret plan. The next day, I pretended to need help setting something up on my smartphone. My grandson was eager to assist but he had no idea what he was getting into! He opened the phone's settings for me, thinking it would be easy as pie. Little did he know, I had already pre-programmed a prank app that sent him hilarious memes whenever he touched a specific button. I watched in glee as his face went from confusion to laughter every time one of those memes popped up. And the best part? The moment my grandson figured out what was going on, he started laughing too and even thanked me for teaching him about all these hidden features! I might be older than them, but when it comes to a good joke and pranks, I still got moves!
