I'm A Defiant Sneak Eater

Okay, so here's my dirty little secret. I've been sneaking into my sister’s room late at night to steal her candy stash for years now. She keeps it in a big glass jar on the top shelf of her closet where she thinks no one can reach, clearly, not true! It started when we were kids and our mom was cracking down on sweets, but I just couldn’t resist those chocolate bars and gummy bears. Now that we’re grown-ups with separate lives, you'd think I’d have outgrown this habit, but the thrill of sneaking around is still so exciting! Sometimes she catches me mid-chug of her secret stash of soda too. She yells at me every time, but honestly, it’s worth it for a quick sugar rush before bed. It's become kind of an inside joke between us, I think deep down, even she finds the whole thing hilarious. I've considered just telling her outright so we can share more openly and keep it legal, but part of me will always love that forbidden feeling.
