i told a fib

so i was at this gallery opening last night for my new exhibit and everyone's all fancy and sipping wine and talking about how amazing my art is. of course, there's one piece in the corner no one really seems to care about, which is kind of odd because it's actually one of my favorites... turns out it wasn't finished yet when i hung it up. but instead of admitting that, i told people it was a part of the concept and left them pondering its mysteriousness. maybe they'll figure it out eventually, or maybe no one will ever know except me and this unfinished painting staring at each other in awkward silence. lol, what is art anyway?
