Spilled Coffee All Over My Boss's Shoes

Today was my first day at work and I accidentally knocked over a coffee mug onto my boss's shoes. Now everyone probably thinks I'm clumsy or worse. Anyone else have such a mortifying start? Is this the beginning of a terrible week, or just a fluke?
