The streets are empty, my coworkers are chill, and everyone else is asleep so no one bothers me. Plus, working the graveyard shift means no bossy bosses or nosy neighbors telling you what to do. It’s just peaceful. And when the stars come out and the city sleeps, there’s this serene calm that hits you, like you’re the only person alive for a while. I know it’s not exactly socially acceptable to thrive in darkness and silence, but honestly, who cares? I’m proud of my night owl status and don’t plan on changing anytime soon.
