my crush and the lawn mower

so i met charlie 5 yrs ago when we both moved in next door to each other like neighbors do. since day one, he was this super charming guy with a great sense of humor, and yeah, i kinda fell for him hard even tho he's got no clue. every summer he gets out his mower to cut grass, and watching him mow from my window or porch is seriously the highlight of my week, like it’s some kind of ritual. i’ve tried not thinking about how hot he looks in those shorts but it never works. one day we were actually talking and i ended up blushing all red and rambling on abt the weather insteada telling him how i felt. stupid right? now i'm stuck just watching him from afar and hoping that my blushes don't give me away.
