So, I've been a stay-at-home parent for the past three years now. I thought it would be an easy transition from working full-time to being home with the kids all day every day. But then there was this one time when... well, let's just say it involved me hiding in my closet because I couldn't deal with them fighting over a broken toy car. The noise levels and constant chaos got to me that day, and I just needed a few minutes of quiet solitude.
