Fake It Till You Make It

So I started painting recently and it's not going as well as I hoped. Yesterday at work, someone asked me to join a local art club. But since my paintings are all blobs of color right now, I fibbed that I couldn't go because I needed to finish this huge project for the weekend instead. Yeah, it feels like a teeny bit of a lie, but hey, gotta keep up appearances until I can actually make some decent art.
