My Lie at Work

I've been telling my boss that I need to step out for lunch because there's this new vegan cafe a block away. The truth is, I just can't face another day of the same old sandwich from the deli down the street. It was pretty easy to make up excuses when they asked about the 'new place,' but now I feel guilty every time I pass by without stopping. Oh wait, I think that vegan cafe actually exists and has great reviews, so maybe my lie is turning into a reality. Maybe next week, I'll finally go try it out instead of fibbing.
