...The Drama Behind My Class's Best Project Ever...

Okay, folks. This is a bit of a long story so bear with me. I’m Alex and this happened last year in my classroom. We were assigned to make a collaborative project on local history, but here’s the twist, I was secretly competing against another teacher for a grant....So I started manipulating things behind the scenes...like switching out less impressive student artwork with my own...or making sure all the group meetings went smoothly and everyone got along better under me. At one point, I even edited a significant piece of research to favor my team’s project over others in our district showcase....When we won the grant, it felt amazing but also really wrong somehow. It's not like I ever considered quitting teaching though. Have you guys ever found yourselves in tricky situations at work that felt both right and wrong?
