Got My Revenge On The Office Gossip Queen

I had a big problem at work. Sarah from accounting talks to everyone about everyone and it drives me crazy. I tried talking to her, being nice, ignoring her, nothing worked. She still spreads rumors and lies around like she owns the water cooler. One day, our boss asked us all to wear pink for Pink Month at work. Well, guess what? Sarah showed up in a full head-to-toe outfit that looked like it was straight from the 80s with pastel pinks and flowy fabrics. People started laughing quietly behind their desks. I saw my chance. I knew how much she despised pink but loved to wear it for attention. So, after work, I went out and got a bunch of cheap pink frilly decorations, streamers, balloons, you name it. When I got home, I put everything in big clear garbage bags. The next morning, I brought those bags into the office early before anyone else showed up. While Sarah wasn't there yet, I snuck out all those decorations and strung them around her cubicle like Christmas lights, even glued some to the top of her monitor so it was right in front of her face when she sat down. That day at work, people kept glancing over at her cube as they walked by. Sarah was mortified, her pink clothes looked more and more 80s every time I saw her fidget with her things trying to get rid of the decorations. But there were too many, and she didn't know how. I laughed inside when she finally went to HR, thinking it was a joke from someone else because no one wanted to upset her. They ended up sending me down to see if I had anything to do with it, but of course, I played dumb. No way would they ever suspect their office gossip queen for causing trouble. Now, she's the laughingstock, not me anymore.
