Bought More Paint than I Need, Is This Normal?

So here's the thing. I started painting a couple months ago and it's honestly been one of the best decisions ever. I love all the stuff from my local craft store, the brushes, canvases, everything. So when they had this big sale on acrylic paints last weekend, I went crazy. Got every color in brights, pastels, even the metallic ones because let's face it, why not? The thing is, I already have so much paint at home that it's basically like a hoarder’s collection of stuff you'll never use again (which isn't true because clearly I love to paint!). But there I was buying all these colors with no real plan for them. I felt silly but I couldn't stop myself. Now here's where things get tricky. Sure, if you're a professional artist or something, this makes sense right? Maybe I'll become famous and my canvases will be sold out everywhere... But honestly, I'm just me, someone who enjoys painting in their spare time. So is it okay to stock up on supplies even when I know I have enough already? I feel bad every time I see all that paint sitting there unused. Like I've wasted money or something. And yet, part of me feels so happy knowing I can dive into any project without thinking about what colors are missing. So here's my confession: am I the asshole for buying too much? Is it normal to just buy things you love even if they're not practical right now? Please let me know if anyone else deals with this or maybe has some advice on how to enjoy art supplies without feeling guilty! :)
