Middle Sibling Drama

I have two brothers, one older and one younger. It’s hard to find time when it's just me, but lately I’ve been noticing that the same kid from school keeps popping up in conversations with my older brother... And no, not like that! We’re all straight forward about things here. Anyway, it’s this guy named Jamie, short dark hair, green eyes. He’s a year younger than me and plays soccer for the junior team on our side of town. My brother keeps talking about how good he is at playing defense and stuff... And that's when I started to notice something funny happening: whenever Jamie shows up in conversation or in one of those group chats we have, my heart starts beating a little faster... It’s weird because before all this drama with the chat groups, I’d never given Jamie much thought. We've always been friendly around school and such, but nothing more than that. But now... I can’t help it; every time someone mentions him, I get nervous and blushing, like what if my brother sees me looking at his photos or something? It’s so embarrassing! What's even worse is how petty it feels being this way about a crush over school stuff when there are other bigger family things going on. Maybe it’s just silly to worry about liking someone I see every day anyway, but now that my brother has brought him up all the time... I’m just trying to get it off my chest here; don’t need any advice or anything. Just needed to write this down so maybe next time it won't be such a big deal...
