Oops, Spilled It All Over Again

I’ve always been a bit clumsy at the best of times, but I swear, every time I visit my sister's place it seems to take on new heights. Last weekend, I went over with her family’s new puppy and was tasked with holding it while they got some things ready. As soon as I started petting the pup, I lost all sense and dropped that bowl of spaghetti my wife had made me carry over for lunch right into a freshly cleaned carpet. The smell of tomato sauce mingling with dog hair wasn’t exactly heavenly, but everyone laughed it off and we managed to salvage both lunch and rug, albeit with some elbow grease. Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself, right? 🤣
