Missing Home Snacks

So I was just sitting here in my dorm room, and it’s super quiet except for the sound of the heater going off every few minutes. It's cold here compared to back home where we always had this giant family-sized bag of M&Ms by the TV that nobody ever finished before starting a new one. And you know how sometimes when I'm feeling down about not having my own room or missing all the laughs with my siblings, I just want that snack? Yeah, I’ve been sneaking into the kitchen and making do with whatever is there, which usually isn’t much compared to those endless M&Ms back home. Last night though, I ended up just watching old family videos on my phone while eating a single cookie. Silly, right? But it makes me smile every time.
