...I Spy...

So last week I caught my 15-year-old sneaking out past curfew. Instead of yelling or punishing right away... I pretended to be asleep and listened. Curiously enough, it wasn't what I thought it would be... they were just hanging with friends at the park, no harm done really. But here's where things got tricky, I didn’t know how to react. Should I let them off easy? Be more lenient than expected? Or stick to our family rules rigidly? It’s making me question my own parenting style lately... What if I’m too permissive? Too strict? How do you find that balance without being overbearing or too lax?...
