When My Boss's Secret Got Out

Working in a bookstore can get pretty boring sometimes, especially when there are no customers around. Last week, my coworker and I found out our boss was secretly writing romance novels on the side! It wasn’t supposed to be anyone’s business but she let it slip that she had a secret stash of manuscripts stashed away at her desk. When we were alone in the store one day, we couldn't resist peeking. We felt like naughty detectives and ended up reading parts of a story about mermaids falling in love with humans! It was so funny seeing our boss this way. Of course, she got pretty mad when she found out, but we swear it was all for her own good, keeping us entertained on those slow days. So, does anyone else sneakily read their coworkers’ personal stuff? Or is it just me and my friend getting into trouble?
