Caught in the Act of Sneaking Cookies

My kids are always complaining about not having enough snacks at home, so I started sneaking them into the house when they aren't around. Last night, as I was quietly adding a stash to their closet while they were out with friends, I heard footsteps and the door creaking open. My heart skipped a beat as my husband walked in. 'What's all this?' he asked, pointing at the bag of cookies in my hand. I just shrugged and said, 'Thought we needed more snacks.' He gave me one of those looks that says he doesn't believe a word but isn't going to press it either. Now, I'm not sure if I should continue hiding these treats or come clean about it all. Am I the only parent out there who feels like they need to sneak food for their kids' happiness? What would you do in my shoes?
