The Great Candy Caper

So yeah, I'm the nurse at our local grade school, and we got this huge shipment of candy for Halloween. It was like a mountain of sweets, enough to make any kid's eyes bulge out with excitement. But guess what? We had an emergency fire drill just as I was about to distribute them to the kids in class. The principal said it'd be a few hours before everything was cleared and we could hand out candy again. Now, I know you're thinking, 'Oh no, poor little trick-or-treaters!' But here's the thing: there were these big glass jars full of lollipops right next to my desk. And it wasn't just any old lollipop either, they were the kind with the super sour center that makes your tongue feel like it's on fire. So I'm sitting at my desk, thinking about all those disappointed children and how their night might be ruined by this mix-up. Then out of nowhere, a mischievous thought popped into my head: what if...? You know, just as an idea, not to actually do anything wrong or steal candy from kids. But then it hit me, why not swap out the sour lollipops for some regular ones that wouldn't ruin anyone's night? It was a split second decision. I grabbed a handful of regular candy and switched them in with the sour ones, replacing each one carefully so nothing would look too different. The funny part is, as soon as I did this, another fire alarm went off for real! We had to clear out again, leaving me wondering if my little trick was discovered. When we finally returned hours later, there were still lollipops left in the jars, and everything seemed normal enough. The principal came over with a relieved look on her face. I ended up giving those sour candies away at home, to myself!, while everyone else enjoyed their candy without any trouble. Was it naughty? Maybe. But hey, no one got hurt or anything bad happened. And the kids all had fun trick-or-treating that night. Plus, I got some extra candy for my troubles. So yeah, this is probably a confession for a 'cheeky' kind of website and not exactly rocket science. Just another day at the office in the world of Halloween candy.
