The First Day Blues

I thought starting my first job would be like stepping into a dreamland filled with coffee breaks and quick lunch hours. Instead, it feels like I've walked into the middle of an alien planet where everyone speaks in acronyms and handshakes are required to get any work done. I miss being able to just say what I think without worrying about whether it’s the right ‘corporate’ thing. Today, I even cried during a meeting because no one understood my rookie struggles. Maybe they all started out as clueless newbies too?
