The Time I Accidentally Became a Star Programmer at Work

So there was this new project our team was working on, and my boss asked for some quick changes. I had been meaning to improve an existing feature anyway, so I took it upon myself to rewrite the entire thing from scratch over the weekend. By Monday morning, everyone's jaws were dropping as they saw how much better everything ran now. My coworkers have started treating me like a coding wizard, but I'm not sure if that’s what I wanted at all.
