My Artistic Block Hits Harder Than My Crushes Do

I'm an artist who usually finds inspiration in the most unexpected places. Lately though, I've been staring at my canvas for hours and getting nowhere. It's not because I don't have ideas; it's that every single one I think of is immediately ruined by some ridiculous crush drama. My brain just can't seem to separate 'art mode' from 'crush mode,' and the result is a lot of wasted canvases. Is this normal? Do other artists struggle with letting emotions interfere in their work, or am I uniquely cursed here? Maybe it's time to start dating more casually, I mean seriously, if I have an actual date on my calendar, will that take priority over a crush-induced mental block? Any advice from fellow creators who balance personal feelings with professional output?
