Old Dog New Tricks

I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to be playing these video games anymore. At least, that's what my kids say when they find me hunched over the controller in the middle of the night. But who are they to judge? They're always off somewhere swiping left on their phones or binging some new show. So, one day, I decided to sneak into the basement and taught myself how to play 'Grand Theft Auto', or at least as much as you can before my wife catches me with a stern look that says 'You have thirty seconds until this controller is in pieces.' It's not like anyone's watching their parents anyway. Sometimes, though, I feel guilty because these games are probably more violent than when I was young and played cowboys with real guns (not that I'd admit that to my grandchildren). But hey, life's too short to just sit around knitting all day long.
