dad confession

so my kid told me yesterday they want to go to college far away and i totally freaked out for like an hour last night thinking about it. i mean i get it, theyre grown and need space and independence but oh my god its scary as hell too. i was googling safety stats in other cities late into the night trying to convince myself its ok. dont tell them i did that lol
