Spilled Coffee All Over My Advisor's Notes

So I did something pretty cringe today. I was meeting with my advisor to go over some papers for a research project we're working on, and I brought my coffee because mornings without caffeine are impossible for me. I was so focused on what he was saying that I didn't notice the lid wasn't properly closed. By the time I realized it, half his notes were soaked. My poor advisor had to cancel our meeting and reschedule everything. I feel awful, I've never been more mortified in my life.
