Late Night Snacking Woes

Anonymous Wily Grinner #316 · General

I'm starting to think that my love for snacking at work is not just a late-night craving but a full-blown addiction. Last night, while monitoring the machines on my shift, I found myself reaching into the vending machine more often than checking if everything was running smoothly. It's not like I need the snacks, they're mostly junk food and sugar that leaves me jittery and wide awake until morning. So why can't I resist? Is it the allure of the forbidden, knowing I'm not supposed to snack during my shift? Or am I just trying to numb the boredom? Whatever the reason, this habit isn't doing wonders for my waistline or work performance. Maybe I need to find a healthier late-night routine, like maybe some light stretching or reading, but it's hard to stay motivated when those chips are right there calling my name.
