My Kids and The Extra Cookie

Okay, so there was this time when I thought I hid a cookie in my jacket pocket after telling my kids we didn't have any more cookies left. Little did I think they'd be the ones to discover it on the kitchen table later that night, crumbs everywhere. Now, I tell them it's just a mysterious visitor’s treat, and surprisingly, they buy it, mostly because they’re too excited about their own stash of secret snacks they've been hiding from me! Sometimes being a parent means you have to be just as sneaky.
