My Lie About Practicing Piano

I started learning piano recently and I'm really excited about it. But you know how it is when you first start a new hobby, there's so much to learn, so many fingers to coordinate. So, to save face with my friends who think I'm a natural at everything, I've been fibbing about how long I practice each day. It feels silly because everyone knows I usually tell the truth, but lying just makes me feel worse. Maybe next week, I'll be ready to tell it like it is.
